how long does it take to complete a project?
First Proof: within 5-7 business days from date of signed contract
Completed Website: 5-7 business days from approval of first proof
Print Projects: 5-10 business days depending on scope of project

what are your hours of operation?
Our office hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm EST

what methods of payment do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards as well as Paypal.

what is stock photography?
We believe that pictures can make or break your design. We encourage our clients to use royalty free stock photography at www.istockphoto.com. Depending on whether or not your design project is web or print, they are as little as $1.00 each. You can supply us the actual images or you may give us the file numbers where we will download it for you and apply it to your final invoice.

our design stage

1. purchase your desired package
Choose your package and purchase online. You will receive a contract from us. Simply sign and fax/email back to us at info@kayzoesolutions.com.

2. online project manager
Once your order has been put through, you will receive an email with a link, username and password to login to our online Project Manager. This is where all the conversations, file uploads etc. will take place regarding your entire project from beginning to end.

3. questionnaire
You will be required to fill out a questionnaire which we will send to you with our welcome package. This will give us a better understanding of your design style and what types of web functionality you would like (if you have purchased a website). We also ask that you supply us with your logo and any photos that you may have. See our comment above on Stock Photography regarding www.istockphoto.com.

4. design stage
Whether you have purchased a website, a business card, or a logo, you will receive your proof within 7 business days (depending on our current production schedule at that time). If you have purchased a website, you will receive a proof of your home page. The
rest of the website will be built upon this design. With this stage, two sets of changes are allowed.

• print project
  Once the design is approved, it will be finalized and the files will be uploaded to the project manager. You will receive a sign off form stating that the project is now closed.
• web project
  your design will be finalized and the fi les will be prepared for coding (building of your site)
  * Any further changes after the 2 sets will incur a modification fee of $40.00 and up.

5. coding stage
Once your site has been coded, it will be uploaded to a temporary server for you to view and test. If you are using a Content Management System, the site will be set up with a demo system. If you have purchased an Information site or if we are building all of the pages for you, all pages will be uploaded at this time.
* Any major structural DESIGN changes to your website (i.e. template colour change, top category changes, home page graphics) AFTER coding stage has been completed will incur extra charges of $80.00 and up.

You will receive a form to sign to consent that the site has been completed. An invoice for your final payment will be sent. Once payment and the form have been received, your site will be uploaded to your live server. If training is required, a mutually convenient time will be arranged to go through our system either via phone or live chat. We provide 2 hours of training to learn our system.

what are your hourly rates?
Our hourly rates are $40/hour.

design change fees and allowable changes
We generally allow 2 sets of changes after your initial proof (web or print) has been presented. Any further changes will incur an extra cost of $40 and up. If you have purchased a web project, we work in 2 stages. The Design Stage and the Coding Stage. If you require structural changes to your design AFTER the coding stage, fees start at $80 and up.

what is a domain and hosting?
A domain is www.kayzoesolutsions.com. Hosting is a physical remote location where your files are stored so it is viewable on the Internet.

how do I manage my web site?
We will train you on the use of our Content Management System. It is an application which allows you (our client) to manage your own website/shopping cart after we have built it without having to know any HTML.

what is an e-commerce and informational website?
E-commerce is the selling of goods and services over the Internet. An informational website is one without the use of a shopping cart.

what are pre-designed websites?
For those on a budget, our pre-designed websites are already designed for you. Just pick and choose which one you like. Our pre-designed website templates are totally customizable. Your homepage is one of the most important sections of your entire site. A captivating and bold homepage grabs the attention of the shopper and is the best way to let a user know of specials events or products. This section is on the very first page of your site only and is located in the middle of the design.

What is a custom splash screen?

• Static - A splash screen is the first page a user looks at. It will have your logo and any other images you wish to capture the nature of your business.

What is shell coding?
We will code your site to the shopping cart using the template that has been designed.

What is blog integration?
We will integrate the design of your website utilizing Blogspot or Wordpress templates.

What are entered pages?
With our lower packages, the client will enter in their website info themselves utilizing our Content Management System. With our higher packages, we will enter this in for you. Once your project has been finished and closed, you will maintain these pages yourself unless you have purchased a maintenance program with us.

What is an information website?
An Information Website is simply a website without a need for a shopping cart. We will enter in all the information depending on how many pages your package has.
