Green is the Colour of Back to School Green Planet Parties knows firsthand that for moms ‘back to school’ means finding products that protect children’s health and the environment. We’ve pulled together some of our favorite items and some new lunchtime products that we think you’ll really appreciate. Parents are flipping over our 2 and 3 tier stainless steel lunch Tiffin’s that have been used for years in Asia and India to safely transport food. Another reusable product for the school lunchbox or birthday party is our very own cloth lunchbox napkins – sold in sets of 5 - one for each day of the week. Labour Day & End of Summer Gatherings Made Greener Did you know that biodegradable and compostable tableware for outdoor eating is a great alternative for your outdoor gatherings and parties? Using your own dishes is always the best environmental choice, but when hosting large parties or outdoor events, this is not always possible. Our favorite and most popular option is the 'party in a bag', complete with enough tableware for 25 people and includes our palm leaf or Bagasse plate options. August 2009 Volume 1 Welcome!
Welcome to Green Planet Parties' first newsletter for our customers, friends and supporters! We can hardly believe it’s been one year since we opened our virtual doors for business. We’d like to thank you for your support as we mark our anniversary of helping others celebrate the greener way! We're excited to share our newly sourced fabric line, great new back to school items, and eco-friendly ways to 'green' up your Labor Day BBQ. We also want to take this opportunity to ask for your feedback or suggestions. We'd love to hear about your party or event and get feedback on our products, service, and hear about ways you’ve made your gathering 'greener. The 3rd annual 'Mom's Night Out' happens September 18th at the Heritage Hall on Main Street in Vancouver where doors open at 6:30pm. Both Suzannes from Green Planet Parties have attended in past years and are thrilled to be presenting with a space of our own this year. We hope to see you there!
